Job Description

About us :

Reewild is building the rewards infrastructure that turns everyday spending into climate and health impact on a global scale.

Our product, PlanetPoints, works like Avios or CRED Points but every point earned reflects measurable positive change. Backed by Mastercard, Microsoft for Startups, and leading banks, we process millions of transactions per day in real time, mapping each payment to SKU-level purchase data and rewarding sustainable choices instantly.

For our engineering team, this means tackling hard, high-impact problems: designing fault-tolerant, event-driven systems; scaling to millions of daily users; optimising for latency and reliability; and integrating with banking, payments, and retail networks worldwide. If youre looking for complex systems work with tangible real-world impact, this is it.

- Messaging/Eventing : RabbitMQ, MassTransit

- Cloud : Microsoft Azure, Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps

- Data & Storage : MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Redis

- Build and optimise distributed backend services.

- Design event-driven microservices for high throughput.

- Implement observability and monitoring at scale.

- Collaborate with product and engineering to shape architecture and features.

- Champion clean code, testing, and performance best practices.

What Were Looking For :

- 2+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally with .NET in production (or equivalent experience delivering production-ready projects)

- Strong grasp of microservices and event-driven architectures.

- Experience in fintech, payments, or POS integrations (preferred).

- Hands-on with cloud platforms (Azure is a plus).

- Problem-solver with a bias for action and ownership.
