Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Credit Cards domain and banking systems. The candidate will be responsible for requirement gathering, stakeholder management, solution design support, and end-to-end delivery across BAU and project initiatives within the cards ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis :

- Engage with business stakeholders to understand product, regulatory, and operational requirements.

- Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.

- Conduct gap analysis between current and proposed systems.

- Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.

2. Credit Cards Domain Expertise :

- Strong understanding of end-to-end card lifecycle :

a. Onboarding & Origination

b. Card issuance & embossing

c. Authorization, Clearing & Settlement

d. Billing & Statements

e. Payments & Collections

f. Chargebacks & Disputes

g. Fraud monitoring & controls

- Knowledge of network schemes such as Visa, Mastercard, and RuPay.

- Understanding of regulatory and compliance guidelines applicable to credit cards (RBI guidelines, Fair Practices Code, etc.).

3. Stakeholder & Delivery Management :

- Liaise between Business, IT, Vendors, and Operations teams.

- Participate in requirement walkthroughs, solution discussions, and design reviews.

- Support SIT, UAT, and production releases.

- Ensure traceability of requirements through the SDLC lifecycle.

4. Documentation & Process Management :

- Prepare and maintain process flows, impact analysis documents, and change requests.

- Support audit and compliance reviews with required documentation.

- Maintain requirement traceability matrix (RTM).

5. Testing & Implementation Support :

- Provide post-implementation support and production issue analysis.

Required Skills :

Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of core card processing systems (e.g., VisionPLUS, Prime, TSYS, or similar).

- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and batch processes.

- SQL knowledge for data validation and analysis.

- Understanding of ISO 8583 message formats (preferred).

- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.

Domain Knowledge :

- Deep understanding of credit card products (Retail & Commercial).

- Knowledge of BIN setup, pricing configurations, interest calculations, and fee structures.

- Awareness of fraud detection, risk rules, and remediation processes.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and BAU deliveries simultaneously.

- Attention to detail and documentation rigor.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Commerce, Finance, or related field.
