Job Description: DevOps Engineer - AWS

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, containerization, and infrastructure as code. The candidate will be responsible for deploying, managing, monitoring, and optimizing scalable cloud environments while ensuring high availability, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.

- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.

- Manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, ELB/ALB, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, and Route 53.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, monitoring, and operational tasks using Shell scripting or Python.

- Monitor application and infrastructure performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high availability.

- Implement security best practices, access controls, secrets management, and cloud cost optimization.

- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency.

- Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and disaster recovery processes.

Required Skills:

- 3 - 6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.

- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Hands-on knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Good understanding of Linux administration and networking fundamentals.

- Scripting experience in Bash/Shell or Python.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.

- Understanding of Git, branching strategies, release management, and deployment automation.

- Knowledge of cloud security, IAM policies, and troubleshooting distributed applications.
