About the job

We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Architect to own and drive the end-to-end design of our data ecosystem.

This role will be responsible for assessing our current data landscape, identifying gaps and bottlenecks, and defining a scalable future-state architecture that enables seamless integration of data from multiple disparate sources.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and modern data platforms, with a strong focus on building robust, scalable, and future-ready data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architectural Ownership

- Define and own the enterprise data architecture strategy and roadmap.

- Analyze the current data environment and design a future-state architecture aligned with business goals.

- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of data systems.

Data Design & Modeling :

- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

- Establish standards for data modeling, governance, and data quality.

- Enable unified data access across structured and unstructured data sources.

Data Integration & Pipelines :

- Architect and oversee data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines.

- Design solutions for integrating data from multiple, disparate sources into a cohesive platform.

- Ensure efficient data flow across systems (batch and real-time).

Platform & Technology Leadership :

- Evaluate, select, and implement modern data technologies and tools.

Provide deep expertise in :

- Data Warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake)

- Data Lakes and Lakehouse architectures

- Streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka)

- ETL/ELT tools and frameworks

- Optimize architecture for performance, cost, and scalability.

- Governance & Best Practices

- Establish data governance frameworks, including data quality, lineage, and security.

- Define standards and best practices for data architecture and engineering teams.

- Ensure compliance with data regulations and security standards.

- Collaboration & Leadership

- Work closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, Product, and Business stakeholders.

- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Mentor and guide engineering teams on architectural best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles.

- Strong expertise in designing large-scale data architectures.

Deep understanding of :

- Data Warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)

- Data Lakes (e.g., S3, ADLS, Hadoop ecosystems)

- Streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka)

- ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration tools

- Proficiency in data modeling techniques (dimensional, normalized, etc.)

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Strong understanding of distributed systems and big data technologies.

- Experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
