Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled R Developer / R Shiny Developer to design, develop, and maintain production-grade R and Shiny applications. The ideal candidate will have strong data science fundamentals, hands-on experience with modern R packages, and the ability to collaborate effectively within agile teams.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain scalable R solutions using tidyverse, dplyr, data.table, dtplyr, Rcpp, and Shiny

- Design, build, and deploy production-ready R Shiny applications with proper testing and version control

- Optimize R code for performance and scalability

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, data-driven solutions

- Use Posit ecosystem tools to manage, deploy, and maintain R applications

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, upskill, and adopt best practices

Required Skills :

- Advanced R programming experience with hands-on expertise in tidyverse, dplyr, data.table, dtplyr, Rcpp, and Shiny

- Proven experience in building production-grade R Shiny applications (version control, unit & functional testing, packaged solutions)

- Strong data science and analytical skills

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

- Excellent communication, coordination, and collaboration skills

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Performance optimisation of R code using data.table, dtplyr, Rcpp, cpp11

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deploying R solutions using cloud platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps)

- Hands-on experience with R package development and testing (testthat, shinytest2)

- Familiarity with object-oriented systems in R (S3, S4, R6)

- Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to junior R developers
