Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Back-End Developer with strong experience in Quote Builder or CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) systems to join our engineering team on a contract basis.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs that support the Quote Builder application.

The role requires excellent understanding of server-side technologies, system integrations, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and APIs for Quote Builder applications.

- Collaborate closely with front-end developers, architects, and business analysts to deliver robust and scalable backend solutions.

- Build and maintain integrations with CRM, pricing, and product configuration systems (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle CPQ).

- Develop and optimize database schemas, stored procedures, and data access layers.

- Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance.

- Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.

- Integrate third-party services and APIs as needed.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 5- 7 years of hands-on experience in backend development.

- Strong proficiency in Node.js, Java, .NET Core, or Python (based on project stack).

- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

- Familiarity with API integration and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT).

- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).

- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance-tuning skills.

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- Prior experience working on CPQ or Quote-to-Cash platforms.

- Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ Cloud, or similar systems.

- Experience in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.

- Familiarity with GraphQL or gRPC APIs.

- Understanding of DevOps practices and deployment automation.
