Role : Senior Java Developer

Location : Pune, India (Hybrid)

Experience : 8+ years

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance Java-based applications.

- Architect and implement robust RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Mentor and guide junior developers, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.

- Troubleshoot complex application issues and optimise performance across systems.

- Conduct and participate in detailed code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.

- Define and implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.

- Work closely with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Programming: Expert proficiency in Java (version 8 or above) with a deep understanding of object-oriented design principles.

- Frameworks: Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.

- APIs: Mastery in building and consuming RESTful APIs and implementing API security measures.

- Databases: Strong expertise in designing and managing relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

- Tools: Advanced knowledge of Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar.

- Testing: Expertise in automated testing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, and Mockito.

- Development Practices: In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.

Additional Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with front-end technologies such as Vue.js.

- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and cloud-native application development.

- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
