We're Hiring : Lead - Quantitative Trading (Backend Engineering Lead)

A fast-growing proprietary trading firm is looking for a Backend Tech Lead to build and scale next-gen trading systems for Indian and global markets. You'll work at the intersection of technology and finance, leading a strong engineering team and driving innovation in quantitative & algorithmic trading.

What You'll Do :

- Architect and optimize low-latency, real-time trading infrastructure (Python & C++).

- Own backend systems for large-scale data processing & live trading.

- Manage cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, monitoring & incident response.

- Lead and mentor a 15-20 member distributed engineering team.

- Collaborate with quants, ML engineers & researchers to deliver strategies.

What We're Looking For :

- 7+ years backend experience (Python expertise a must).

- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, cloud infra, DevOps & CI/CD.

- Proven leadership in managing teams & complex projects.

Bonus : Exposure to quant trading, market microstructure, execution logic.
