Qualys - Lead Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

Responsibilities :

- Lead products QA deliveries and report to QA manager for continuous feedback and improvement.

- Ensuring all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning and automation planning.

- Work closely with the engineering team to understand product architecture and functionality to ensure the good quality features delivery.

- Work closely on the deadlines of the project and keep raising the bar, standards of all the quality processes on every release.

- Takes complete ownership of release deliverables along with multitasking and mentoring.

- Generate the QA artifacts like Test plan, test cases and test execution reports, release deployment guide etc.

- Identify, document, and track the defects.

- Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.

- Prepare and configure test environments, including software installations and configurations.

- Conduct exploratory testing to find defects that might not be covered by test cases.

- Deploy the microservices application in Engineering environment.

- Support the SRE team for the deployment of production releases.

- Improve processes for test plan reviews and ensure that that test plans get reviewed by all stakeholders.

- Review the Test Strategies and ensure the thoroughness of the test scenarios.

- Assist in troubleshooting customer issues and providing root cause analysis whenever needed.

- Knowledge and experience in testing SAAS applications for scalability testing will be added advantage.

Qualifications and Skills :

- Minimum 8+ years of experience in functional and automating testing of SAAS products and leading team of 35 engineers.

- Must have experience on any public or private Cloud platform.

- Certification of AWS, Azure and GCP any of the Cloud is a big plus.

- Hands on experience in test automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications.

- Must have experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers.

- Hands on experience of functional UI and API automation.

- Linux knowledge is must.

- Good to have experience on Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Oracle DB.
