About the Role :

We are looking for a Senior Python Lead who can combine technical excellence with strategic leadership.

This role demands a visionary technologist with strong experience in Python development, cloud solutions, and stakeholder management.

You will play a key role in architecting scalable applications, driving digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple technology streams.

This position is ideal for professionals who are hands-on with code but also capable of leading teams, optimizing processes, and collaborating closely with business leaders to deliver high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure applications using Python and Flask.

- Oversee architecture reviews, code quality, and performance optimization.

- Mentor and guide a team of developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation

- Own end-to-end delivery of projects from requirement gathering to deployment and post-production support.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, and Business) to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business goals.

- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency.

- Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, priorities, and success metrics.

- Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences and senior management.

- Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.

- Lead cloud migration initiatives on Microsoft Azure, ensuring compliance with best practices and cost efficiency.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions for automated build and deployment.

- Implement infrastructure-as-code practices and contribute to DevOps automation strategies.

- Champion Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and ensure effective sprint planning, retrospectives, and delivery tracking.

- Maintain technical documentation using tools like Confluence and Jira for transparency and traceability.

Key Skills & Technical Expertise :

- Python, Flask, Django (optional), RESTful APIs, SQL, ORM frameworks

- Azure Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes (preferred), Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform/ARM templates

- MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server (strong in SQL query writing and validation)

- Postman, SOAP UI, Jira, Confluence, GitHub/GitLab

Other Competencies :

- Strong understanding of software architecture and microservices

- Experience in performance tuning and scalable API design

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- 7- 10 years of experience in Python development, including at least 3+ years in a technical leadership or team lead capacity

- Proven track record in cloud migration and enterprise-level application delivery

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
