Role Description :

We are looking for a well-rounded Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong foundation in manual testing and a growing focus on automation. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling complex test scenarios, working with advanced UI elements, and contributing to increasing automation coverage while ensuring high product quality.

Job Location : Pune, India.

Experience : 7+ Years

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright

- Perform API testing using tools such as Bruno or Postman

- Conduct manual testing (functional and exploratory) to ensure robust test coverage

- Analyze requirements and design effective test strategies and test cases

- Debug, modify, and enhance automation scripts independently, including those generated using AI tools

- Collaborate closely with development teams to identify, log, and resolve defects

- Ensure high-quality defect reporting with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis

- Drive end-to-end testing efforts across the project lifecycle

- Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes

- Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot effectively, with a clear understanding of generated code

Required Skills :

- Automation Tools : Playwright

- API Testing : Bruno / Postman

- Programming Languages : TypeScript / JavaScript

- Database Knowledge : SQL

- AI Tools : Experience with GitHub Copilot (must understand and validate generated code)

- Version Control & CI/CD : Strong knowledge of Git and GitHub
