Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced QA Tester III with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable automation frameworks, API testing, database validation, and leading quality assurance activities in Agile environments. This role requires a strong focus on test automation, continuous integration, and delivering high-quality enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Java, TypeScript, and TestNG.

- Execute functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, system, and non-functional testing across the software development lifecycle.

- Analyze business requirements and user stories to create comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.

- Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.

- Perform API testing and automation for RESTful services using industry-standard tools.

- Validate application data using MSSQL Server and MySQL databases.

- Lead QA activities within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and retrospectives.

- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collaborate with Product Owners to validate business workflows.

- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects while working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous quality improvements.

Required Skills:

- 7-12 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a combination of manual and automation testing.

- Strong experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks.

- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript (primary) and Java; exposure to C# is an advantage.

- Hands-on experience with API testing and API automation.

- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies including Functional, Regression, Integration, End-to-End, System, Sanity, and Performance Testing.

- Experience with SQL databases such as MSSQL Server and MySQL for data validation.

- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile (Scrum) methodologies.

- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

- Hands-on experience with Git, Bitbucket, or other version control systems.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with test reporting and quality dashboards.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
