Position Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Lead (IC role) to lead automation and system integration testing for a modern cloud-scale SmartNIC and networking infrastructure vendor. This role requires deep expertise in Python automation, networking protocols, and system-level validation. You will be responsible for identifying test gaps, designing and implementing robust automation frameworks, and ensuring seamless integration with CI pipelines.

Target Companies for Similar Experience : Marvell, Unicorn, Toshiba, Cisco, Intel.

Key Responsibilities :

- Drive automation framework development and system integration test case coverage.

- Identify test gaps and propose improvements to ensure end-to-end product quality.

- Work on SmartNIC validation including PCIe device and BITW modes.

- Validate networking protocols and concepts (Ethernet, L2/L3, routing, SDN).

- Engage in system integration testing : test discovery, test plan creation, execution, and delivery.

- Integrate automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines.

- Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams to ensure alignment.

- Act as a technical leader, prioritizing and executing tasks while driving quality outcomes.

- Interface with customers, ensuring effective communication and ownership of QA delivery.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong Python automation expertise (focus on scripting/API testing, not UI/Selenium).

- Solid experience in manual + automation testing in networking environments.

- Strong understanding of networking protocols (Ethernet, L2/L3, routing, SDN).

- Hands-on experience with SmartNICs, SoC validation, PCIe devices, BITW modes.

- Familiarity with SPDK/DPDK frameworks and their role in SmartNICs.

- Knowledge of security, storage, and RDMA.

- Deep knowledge of Linux kernel networking stack.

- Exposure to C and Python for automation development.

- Experience with automation frameworks like pytest.
