Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual Testing

Job Description :

The incumbent would work in a dynamic and a fast-paced team. Knows about AGILE methodologies and is a strong believer in that. The role would consist of working for the QA team of the company for a highly scalable REST APIS and client-facing application in both Android and ios.

1. Review and analyze system specifications.

2. Excellent understanding of Secured SDLC, STLC and Agile Software Development methodologies.

3. Experience performing end-to-end application testing: requirement validation, functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing and defect management.

4. Experience in working with Client-side applications like web, android and ios.

5. Prepare test case for Unit, Functional, Load, Integration and system level. Execute all the test cases and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.

6. Report bugs and errors to development teams

7. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Required skills and qualification :

1. Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role

2. Experience in project management and QA methodology

Skillsets :

1. Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr, mantis)

2. Excellent communication skills

3. Attention to detail.

Background :

1. BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

2. Minimum Experience 2 years
