About the Role :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with hands-on experience in both Automation and Manual Testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Playwright (Preferred) or Selenium, solid programming/scripting knowledge, and the ability to use modern AI tools (like ChatGPT) to accelerate testing productivity. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in an Agile development environment to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (Preferred), Selenium.

- Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, cross-browser, UI/UX validation).

- Write clean, maintainable test code using TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or Python.

- Participate in creating test strategies, test plans, and test cases.

- Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to speed up test creation, debugging, documentation, and analysis.

- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar bug tracking tools.

- Maintain and update test cases and execution results in TestRail or equivalent tools.

- Work within Agile/Scrum frameworks and participate in sprint activities (standups, grooming, retrospectives).

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and ensure high quality.

- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or automated frameworks.

- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and verify fixes.

- Support CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution.

- Ensure best practices in testing, documentation, and QA processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 2+ years of combined experience in automation and manual testing.

- Strong experience with Playwright or Selenium WebDriver.

- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language : TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Python.

- Good understanding of testing methodologies, testing lifecycle, and QA best practices.

- Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, etc.) for productivity.

- Strong knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.).

- Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC.

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good to Have (Optional/Recommended) :

- Experience with API automation frameworks (Playwright API, RestAssured etc.).

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.

- Basic knowledge of version control (GitHub, Git, Bitbucket).

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for testing environments.

- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6).

- Knowledge of Docker or containerized testing environments.

- Understanding of BDD frameworks (Cucumber).

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
