Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct manual testing of web and mobile applications, covering functional, regression, feature, and exploratory testing.

- Perform REST API testing, validating endpoints, request/response structures, authentication, and integration with backend systems.

- Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and backend processes.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Pytest and Python to ensure scalability, maintainability, and reliability of test suites.

- Work with Playwright to automate browser-based end-to-end testing for web applications.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team to analyze requirements, define test strategies, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Log, track, and manage defects through proper defect management processes and tools.

- Drive best practices in testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong background in Manual Testing (feature, regression, functional).

- Hands-on experience with REST API testing and tools such as Postman/Swagger.

- Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation.

- Must have experience with Python & Pytest for automation frameworks.

- Experience working with Playwright for UI/browser automation.

- Familiarity with Selenium is preferred.

- Good understanding of QA processes, SDLC, and defect life cycle.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot effectively.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
