Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in the Karate Framework and API Automation Testing.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing automation frameworks, validating REST/SOAP services, and supporting CI/CD automation pipelines.

The candidate should possess strong analytical skills and be comfortable working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and enhance automation test scripts using the Karate Framework.

- Perform API testing and automation for REST and SOAP web services.

- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.

- Collaborate closely with Developers, QA teams, Product Owners, and Business stakeholders.

- Identify, track, document, and report defects using defect management tools.

- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and sprint activities.

- Support CI/CD integration and automated execution pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.

- Validate backend services and database records using SQL queries.

- Ensure quality standards and best testing practices are followed throughout the SDLC/STLC process.

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Karate Framework.

- Experience in API Automation Testing for REST/SOAP services.

- Good knowledge of Java, Maven, and Git.

- Strong understanding of BDD concepts and automation frameworks.

- Experience working with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.

- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of Selenium Automation is an added advantage.

- Experience in Database/SQL Testing.

- Exposure to enterprise-level application testing.

- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Notice Period Preference:

Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods are preferred.
