Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

Job Description :

You will be part of a team that develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, analyzes and writes test standards and procedures, maintains documentation of results, automates test cases and works closely with development and support engineers in resolution of problems. This position requires an individual who is creative, team-oriented, a quick learner, efficient planner, self-motivated and driven to produce consistent results.

Essential Functions :

- Understanding test requirements and formulation of test cases

- Developing, implementing, and executing test plans

- Contributing to test automation

- Collecting comprehensive and relevant data for problem investigation

- Participate in technical discussions.

- Work closely with Development team to resolve/reproduce bugs

- Work closely with customer support team to resolve customer issues

- Willing to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team,

department, and company goals.

Job Requirements :

- Experience in software test planning, documentation and process improvement

- Experience in large scale distributed system testing

- Experience in Kubernetes and CI/CD pipeline.

- Experience in TCP/IP and Networking with basic understanding of routing/switching

- Experience in Performance and scalability testing

- Must have programming experience in Python/Perl

- Experience in automation framework development preferably pytest or robot.

- Must be excellent in OOPs concepts and programming

- Experience with agile development, continuous integration and automated testing

- Must be able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic work environment

- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
