About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Automation QA Engineer to join our growing Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in automation frameworks, test data management, and integration testing with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.

This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts ensuring robust and efficient test coverage.

- Execute automation test suites, analyze results, and report defects.

- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to refine story designs, test plans, and code reviews.

- Automate integration and end-to-end tests using tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, and Test Bench.

- Perform system integration testing and support continuous improvement of automation frameworks.

- Review unit test coverage and suggest enhancements for better quality assurance.

- Ensure adherence to Agile practices and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.

Must-Have Skills :

- Postman, Jenkins, Cucumber, Selenium (mandatory)

- Experience with BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, JUnit, Mockito).

- Strong knowledge of test design techniques and test data management.

- Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

- Hands-on with SQL queries and database-level testing.

- Familiarity with defect management and configuration management tools (e.g., CVS/SVN).

Good to Have :

- Experience in Web Applications, Microservices, and UI/Backend/DB level testing.

- Knowledge of SoapUI, Zephyr, Accessibility Testing (JAWS).

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Background in Engineering with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications :

- B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Engineering.

- 45 years of proven experience in automation testing and QA processes.
