About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Windchill Developer with strong experience in PTC Windchill PLM implementation, customization, and integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing Windchill-based solutions that support product lifecycle management, configuration management, and enterprise integration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement customizations and extensions within the PTC Windchill platform.

- Configure and enhance Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink, and PartsLink modules.

- Develop and maintain Java-based custom code, workflows, and user interfaces.

- Integrate Windchill with external enterprise systems (ERP, CAD, CRM, etc.) using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware.

- Collaborate with business analysts, product engineers, and PLM architects to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Perform Windchill system administration tasks such as object configuration, access control, and performance tuning.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windchill performance, customization, or integrations.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, unit tests, and deployment guides.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to PLM best practices within the team.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 5-9 years of overall IT experience, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in PTC Windchill development.

- Strong knowledge of Windchill architecture, Object Model (Types & Attributes), and Workflow design.

- Expertise in Java/J2EE, JSP, XML, and JavaScript for customization and extension.

- Hands-on experience with Info-Engine, Windchill APIs, and Change Management processes.

- Familiarity with Windchill Business Administration tools, Access Control Rules, and Lifecycle Templates.

- Experience integrating Windchill with CAD applications (Creo, NX, SolidWorks) and/or ERP systems.

- Strong understanding of PLM concepts, Configuration Management, and Product Data Management (PDM).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote setup
