QBrainX - Python Architect - Django/Flask

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced Python Architect for a 3+ month contract position with the potential for extension based on project demands and individual performance. The ideal candidate will bring strong architectural design capabilities, hands-on Python development experience, and a deep understanding of scalable backend systems and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and development of robust, scalable Python applications and microservices

- Define and enforce architectural best practices, coding standards, and system design guidelines

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

- Build cloud-native applications on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance optimization

- Mentor team members and ensure high code quality through automation and best practices

- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps integration for smooth deployments

- Prepare technical documentation for architecture, processes, and solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 11 years of professional experience in software development

- At least 3 years in an architect or lead role

- Proficient in Python with experience in frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI

- Strong grasp of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and system integration

- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

- Experience in designing scalable and secure systems

- Strong database knowledge SQL and NoSQL (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)

- Familiar with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and caching (Redis)

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
