Designation : QA Practice Lead with Presales.

Location : Baner, Pune

Experience : 12 to 15 years Exp

We are seeking an experienced QA Practice Lead with strong expertise in Manual Testing, Automation Testing (preferably Java/Selenium), and working knowledge of Performance and/or Security Testing as well as other modern test frameworks like BDD (Cucumber), Playwright, etc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and driving QA best practices across projects, supporting pre-sales activities, identifying quality improvement opportunities, and providing hands-on support for critical engagements when required.

This is a strategic and technical leadership role that requires deep testing expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence engineering teams across multiple accounts.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.

- Contribute to pre-sales : solutioning, estimation, proposals, and customer presentations.

- Provide hands-on support in manual and automation testing for high-priority/complex projects.

- Build, review, and optimize automation frameworks (Java/Selenium, BDD, Playwright, API Testing).

- Identify improvement opportunities across projects - test coverage, productivity, process maturity.

- Explore, evaluate, and adopt AI-driven QA tools and practices to enhance quality and efficiency.

- Collaborate with delivery, DevOps, and product teams to ensure a strong QA strategy.

- Oversee or guide performance and security testing initiatives (good to have).

- Actively contribute to RFP responses and proposals.

- Define QA solutions, automation strategy, and estimations.

- Present solutions to customers and build confidence in delivery capability.

- Work closely with sales to win QA and quality engineering engagements.

Skills & Experience :

- 12+ years in QA with deep hands-on experience in manual & automated testing.

- Strong expertise in Java-based automation, Selenium, and modern frameworks like Cucumber/BDD, Playwright, and API testing tools.

- Experience implementing QA processes across multiple projects/accounts.

- Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and customer-facing skills.

- Experience with CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, and modern QA tooling.

- Ability to drive adoption of AI-powered testing tools, script generation, analytics, and productivity accelerators.

- ISTQB or similar QA certifications.

- Exposure to performance/security testing (good to have).
