Python Engineer - Pandas/Numpy

ROLE BRIEF :

We are looking for experienced developers who are interested in solving complex problems using Python, and the JVM.

Position : Python Engineer (Pandas)

Domain : FinTech- B2B & SAAS Product

Experience : 5 to 12 Yrs

Education : Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science

Work Location : Bangalore, India

- You will design, create, and own some or all of a product/feature. You will also mentor others, read and review code, maintain code, deploy code, tune the performance of systems, as required.

- We are looking for people who are hands on coder, Product experience, Startup experience, Contributed to open source projects, Spoken at developer conferences, published articles in tech websites, published podcasts.

Requirements :

- Proven experience working in Python and Pandas

- Working experience in one or more of R, Java, Scala, Kotlin and associated tools is a plus

- Sufficient knowledge of data analysis/statistical concepts is mandatory

- Working experience writing unit/functional/integration tests is mandatory

- Knowledge of Java 8 features such as streams and lambdas is a plus

- Knowledge of functional programming concepts is a plus

- Knowledge of one or more scripting languages such as Awk, Bash, Perl, Ruby etc. is a plus

- Ability to use modern IDEs such as VSCode, IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse etc. is a plus
