Role Overview :

As a Python Engineer based in Pune, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-traffic backend services that serve as the backbone for our client applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and frontend developers, to translate complex business requirements into efficient, scalable code. Your contributions will directly influence the performance, reliability, and security of the platforms we build, ensuring that our clients can scale their operations seamlessly in a competitive digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement scalable backend services using Python to ensure high availability and performance for end-users.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Django, Flask, or FastAPI to facilitate seamless communication between system components.

- Optimize database queries and schema designs in SQL to improve data retrieval speeds and overall application efficiency.

- Integrate and manage asynchronous task queues using Celery to handle background processing and improve system responsiveness.

- Deploy and manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS to ensure reliable application hosting and automated scaling.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot production issues and implement proactive improvements to the existing codebase.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building production-grade applications using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

- Strong proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful Webservices with a focus on security and performance.

- Hands-on experience with SQL database management and optimization to support complex data structures.

- Practical knowledge of AWS services for cloud deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management.

- Ability to implement background task processing using Celery to enhance system throughput.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Proven capability to work effectively in a hybrid office environment in Pune, maintaining high standards of code quality and peer review.

- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in backend software development.
