About the Role :

We are seeking a Python Developer with strong SQL skills and experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain. The role involves developing secure, scalable backend systems, building data automation workflows, and supporting critical banking applications such as risk analytics, transaction systems, compliance reporting, and data management platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain Python-based applications for banking operations, risk systems, and regulatory reporting.

- Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and scripts for large-scale financial datasets.

- Develop automation and ETL pipelines for transaction processing, fraud monitoring, KYC/AML data, and reporting workflows.

- Ensure all developments meet banking security standards, data privacy requirements, and audit guidelines.

- Optimize application and database performance for high-volume, high-availability banking systems.

- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure system stability.

- Support integration with external systems (payment gateways, risk engines, regulatory APIs).

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Python (Flask, Django, or standalone scripts).

- Advanced skills in SQL (joins, indexing, query tuning) and experience with enterprise RDBMS such as : PostgreSQL / Oracle / SQL Server / MySQL

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Prior experience working in Banking, FinTech, or Financial Services is highly preferred.
