Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with 3-5 years of experience, who has a strong focus on performance optimization and system efficiency. The ideal candidate should be capable of identifying bottlenecks, improving application performance, and working in a Linux-based environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze and identify performance bottlenecks in existing systems and applications

- Optimize code, queries, and system architecture for better efficiency and scalability

- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python applications

- Work with large datasets and improve processing performance

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and speed

- Monitor system performance and implement improvements proactively

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Python development

- Strong understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques

- Experience with debugging and profiling tools

- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms

- Familiarity with REST APIs and backend development

- Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Linux & System Knowledge (Must-Have) :

- Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments

- Basic command-line proficiency, including :

1. Editing files (e.g., vi/nano)

2. Managing file permissions (chmod, chown)

3. Downloading files via terminal (wget, curl)

4. Basic file and directory operations

Basic Python Knowledge Expectations (Interview Scope) :

- Writing simple scripts and functions

- String manipulation and data handling

- Example : Writing a program to count words in a file/string

Good to Have :

- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or tools

- Experience with performance optimization in data-heavy or distributed systems

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
