About the Opportunity :

talentumHR is hiring on behalf of a leading organization in the Capital Markets and Financial Services industry. We are looking for a Python Developer with strong backend development expertise to build and support enterprise applications focused on workflow automation, document processing, reconciliation, validation, and API-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based enterprise applications.

- Develop secure REST APIs, microservices, and workflow-driven solutions.

- Build applications for document scrutiny, reconciliation, validation, comparison, and reporting.

- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms including LDAP, SSO, OAuth2, JWT, and RBAC.

- Integrate applications with databases, Active Directory, internal systems, and third-party platforms.

- Develop modules for document ingestion, processing, validation, and analytics.

- Optimize application performance using asynchronous programming and multiprocessing techniques.

- Collaborate with business, QA, and infrastructure teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.

- Support production deployments and troubleshoot application issues.

Required Skills :

- Strong programming experience in Python.

- Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

- Experience in developing REST APIs and Microservices.

- Knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, OpenPyXL, and related data-processing libraries.

- Experience in OCR, PDF processing, document validation, and automation solutions.

- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments and Shell Scripting.

- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Experience working with CSV, Excel, PDF, JSON, and XML file formats.

- Knowledge of AD, LDAP, SSO, OAuth2, JWT, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

- Experience in logging, monitoring, debugging, and performance optimization.

Preferred Skills :

- Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Docker and Kubernetes.

- Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Exposure to OCR, Document Intelligence, AI/ML-based document processing, fuzzy matching, or reconciliation engines.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- 2 to 5 years of hands-on Python development experience.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Experience working in enterprise application development environments.
