Python Developer - Django

About the Role :

We are looking for a talented and passionate Python Developer to join our growing team in Mumbai.
You will play a key role in building robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs that power critical components of our platform.

This role requires a developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of tasks, and is eager to contribute to high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices to enable seamless interaction between systems.

- Build and maintain complex data models and business logic using PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB.

- Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end features.

- Write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

- Work with AWS-based infrastructure to deploy and maintain backend services ensuring high availability and performance.

- Continuously refactor and optimize existing code for better scalability and reliability.

- Take ownership of services in production, monitor performance, and resolve issues proactively.

- Contribute to open-source projects, internal tools, or blog posts as part of the teams knowledge-sharing culture.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- Frameworks : Django (strong experience required)

- Database : PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB (designing schemas, query optimization)

- API Development : RESTful APIs, integration with third-party services

- Version Control : Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)
