Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled Python Developer with expertise in FastAPI, AWS managed services, and video streaming technologies. You will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling backend services that power a browser-based media processing platform for live and VOD (Video on Demand) streaming. This role requires deep hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, observability tools, and video codecs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain Python FastAPI services for scalable backend APIs.

- Build and optimize real-time and on-demand video streaming pipelines using codecs (H.264), HLS packaging, and FFmpeg/web-ffmpeg.

- Architect solutions leveraging AWS managed services: Lambda, EKS, S3, CloudFront, and MediaConvert/MediaLive.

- Implement containerized workloads with Docker & Kubernetes (EKS) for microservices and media processing.

- Ensure scalability, availability, and low latency for high-traffic streaming applications.

- Integrate observability and monitoring using Datadog, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Prometheus, and Grafana.

- Collaborate with frontend engineers to enable browser-based media processing and playback workflows.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines, testing, and deployment automation.

- Troubleshoot performance issues in streaming workflows and optimize compute/storage costs on AWS.
