Python Developer - Aurora PostgreSQL

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead backend engineering efforts using Python (Flask, Celery) to build scalable, secure microservices.

- Architect, deploy, and maintain robust AWS-based solutions using services such as Lambda, Redshift, Glue, S3, etc.

- Design and optimize relational databases (PostgreSQL, Aurora RDS) and perform advanced SQL tuning for performance.

- Oversee and contribute to the implementation of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD.

- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, and provision infrastructure with Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Ensure systems are observable and maintainable with effective monitoring (CloudWatch, Prometheus) and logging (ELK Stack).

- Champion security best practices for backend services and ensure compliance with industry standards.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.

- Drive Agile practices, participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder updates.

- Mentor and guide team members, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of engineering excellence.

Mandatory Skills :

- Cloud: Proficient in AWS services (Lambda, Redshift, Glue, S3)

- Microservices & APIs: Experience in API gateway, service discovery, distributed systems, observability

- Database: Deep knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora RDS, performance optimization

- CI/CD & Infrastructure: Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation

- Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack

- Security: Strong understanding of backend security and compliance practices

- Collaboration: Excellent verbal/written communication; strong stakeholder management and Agile/Scrum delivery experience

Preferred Skills :

- Proven leadership in scaling cloud infrastructure and backend platforms

- Track record of mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and driving technical decisions
