Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with a strong focus on performance optimization and system efficiency. The ideal candidate should be capable of identifying bottlenecks, improving application performance, and working effectively in a Linux-based environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze and identify performance bottlenecks in existing systems and applications

- Optimize code, database queries, and system architecture for improved efficiency and scalability

- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python applications

- Work with large datasets and enhance processing performance

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and speed

- Monitor system performance and proactively implement improvements

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Python development

- Strong understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques

- Experience with debugging and profiling tools

- Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms

- Experience in building and working with REST APIs

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Linux & System Knowledge (Must-Have) :

- Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments

- Basic command-line proficiency, including :

i. File editing tools (vi/nano)

ii. File permissions management (chmod, chown)

iii. File downloads using terminal (wget, curl)

iv. Basic file and directory operations

Interview Scope (Basic Python Evaluation) :

- Writing simple scripts and functions

- String manipulation and data handling

- Example: Implement a program to count words in a file or string

Good to Have :

- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or tools

- Experience with performance optimization in data-intensive or distributed systems

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
