This is a contractual position for 6 months.

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to work on developing and maintaining robust backend applications and services. The ideal candidate will have ownership of Python-based projects, hands-on experience with at least one Python web framework, and a strong understanding of application development and migration practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop backend services and APIs using Flask, Django, or FastAPI.

- Participate in version migration projects, upgrading Python applications from one version to another while ensuring compatibility and stability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications.

- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment for Python-based applications.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance for project deliverables.

- Troubleshoot and debug production-level issues, ensuring high performance and reliability of applications.

- Work with application services (at an exposure level) to understand deployment, monitoring, and operational considerations.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- Hands-on or ownership experience with at least one Python framework : Flask, Django, or FastAPI.

- Experience with application migration projects, including Python version upgrades.

- Exposure to App Services for understanding deployment and operational aspects.

- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production-level issues.

- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
