Role Overview :

We are looking for a Python Backend Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Django and Flask to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems.

In this role, you will contribute to building robust APIs and backend services that power modern applications in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will work closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions while following best practices in software engineering.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python, Django, and Flask.

- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend business logic.

- Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, including ORM-based data modeling.

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams.

- Write clean, reusable, well-tested, and maintainable code.

- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3 to 6 years of experience in Python backend development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Django and/or Flask.

- Proven experience building and consuming REST APIs.

- Solid understanding of SQL databases and data modeling.

- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD basics.

- Good understanding of authentication, authorization, and backend security best practices.

Nice to Have :

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with microservices architecture.

- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Basic understanding of frontend-backend integration (React/Angular APIs).

Education :

- B.E. / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent technical qualification.
