Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, design, and develop robust backend services using Python (Django).

- Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external services.

- Design and optimize relational database schemas (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

- Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.

- Ensure application security, performance tuning, and scalability.

- Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive best practices in coding standards.

- Work closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps teams for smooth delivery.

- Participate in architectural discussions and recommend technology choices.

- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.

Required Skills

Core : Strong proficiency in Python and Django (8+ years in backend development, at least 6+ years with Django in production).

Database : Expert in PostgreSQL/MySQL with advanced query optimization.

APIs : REST API design and development; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.

Architecture : Strong knowledge of microservices, scalable distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.

Tools & Platforms : Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.

Cloud : Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure (deployment & scaling).

Security : Knowledge of OWASP guidelines, data protection, and secure coding practices.

Testing : Unit, integration, and load testing experience.

Leadership : Experience mentoring teams and contributing to architectural decisions.
