Python Backend Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Back End Developer to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about technology and have a proven track record of building robust and scalable backend systems, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain backend components of web applications using Python and Django framework.

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

- Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices are followed.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team development standards.

- Use Git for version control, branching, and merging codebases effectively.

- Work within an Agile development process, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

Role Requirements and Qualifications :

- Able to design non-trivial DB schemas.

- Knowledge of design patterns, how to use them along with frameworks (in our case Django).

- Good understanding of writing unit test cases.

- Good understanding of either AWS or GCP.

- Able to work with other in a distributed environment (essentially using Git and other collaborative tools).

- Very good understanding of the Linux ecosystem.

- Able to ideate the components of a project into a whole (essentially foresee roadblocks, have a plan in place).

- Good understanding of Django, have implemented complicated workflows using Celery and have implemented a full text search using elastic search / typesense / any other.

- Have integrated machine learning pipelines with the backend.
