Job Description :

We are hiring an experienced Python API Tester with telecom domain expertise.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Python-based API test automation, along with an understanding of telecom processes and protocols.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for REST/SOAP APIs using Python.

- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing specifically for telecom products and services.

- Work closely with development teams to ensure test coverage and quality.

- Troubleshoot issues by analyzing logs and API responses.

- Build and maintain automation frameworks using Python.

- Participate in agile/scrum meetings and contribute to continuous testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills :

- 6+ years of experience in API Testing and Python Automation.

- Hands-on experience with tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Pytest, Robot Framework.

- Experience with telecom protocols and technologies (OSS/BSS, Diameter, SIP, SS7, etc.) preferred.

- Proficient in analyzing API logs, JSON/XML payloads.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git, Docker.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Good understanding of Agile methodologies.

Good To Have :

- Experience with telecom billing or CRM systems.

- Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
