Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our technology team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that power Publicis Sapient's digital platforms. Youll work closely with product owners, engineers, and architects to deliver reliable, scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications

- Build scalable, high-performance microservices and APIs

- Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver features end-to-end

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best engineering practices

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues

- Contribute to system design and architectural decisions

- Continuously improve application performance, security, and reliability

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong experience with Java (Java 8 or above)

- Experience with Spring / Spring Boot

- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases

- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.)

- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

- Good understanding of version control systems (Git)

Desirable Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines

- Exposure to messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)

- Understanding of security, performance, and scalability best practices.
