About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced Murex Front Office GOM Consultant who will work closely with trading, risk, and technology teams to design and support front-office functionalities on the Murex MX.3 platform. The ideal candidate must have strong product knowledge, hands-on Murex configuration experience, and in-depth understanding of FO workflows, pricing, and GOM modules.


Key Responsibilities:


- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Murex Front Office and GOM functionalities.


- Work with traders, quants, and risk teams to gather business requirements and convert them into functional specifications.


- Configure and enhance FO modules including:


- GOM (General Order Management)


- Trade capture & validation


- Pricing and valuation


- Market data setup


- Pre-trade risk checks


- Manage FO workflows, simulation views, blotters, and pricing chains.


- Support and optimize pricing models, product setup, and trade life cycle.


- Coordinate with development and testing teams to deliver FO enhancements and releases.


- Assist with new product onboarding, scenario testing, and regression testing.


- Participate in UAT, troubleshoot FO issues, and ensure front-to-back alignment.


- Work on performance improvements, impact analysis, and documentation.


Required Skills & Experience:


- 510 years of experience working with Murex MX.3 Front Office modules.


- Strong exposure to GOM (General Order Management) and related FO components.


- Hands-on experience in trade capture, pricing, risk measures, curves, volatility surfaces, and market data.


- Solid understanding of capital markets and asset classes such as:


- FX & MM


- Fixed Income


- IR Derivatives


- Credit or Commodities (optional)


- Ability to write BRDs, functional specs, and test cases.


- Experienced in analyzing logs, FO workflows, and functional issue resolution.


- Strong communication skills to collaborate with global stakeholders.


Good to Have:


- Basic understanding of Datamart or reporting.


- SQL knowledge for FO validation and investigation.


- Experience with Agile, Jira, Confluence.


- Exposure to MXML interfaces or market data feeds.
