Publicis Sapient - Java Developer

We are looking for a strong Java + Microservices + AWS Developer (Senior Developer/Tech Lead - Core Java) who will contribute to module-level delivery by bringing deep technical expertise in backend development, cloud architecture, and scalable application design.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize scalable applications using Java & Microservices architecture.

- Translate business requirements into technical design and architecture.

- Develop RESTful APIs and integration components.

- Drive performance tuning, refactoring, and system optimization.

- Contribute to CI/CD setup, build & release management, and deployment processes.

- Collaborate with architects, clients, and global teams for solution delivery.

- Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, security, and system design.

Required Skills :

- 6- 11 years of hands-on experience in Java (JDK 8+).

- Strong understanding of OOPS, Design Patterns, Data Structures & Algorithms.

- Experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot.

- Expertise in Microservices & RESTful API development.

- Hands-on with Multithreading, Concurrency & Java Memory Management.

- Experience with SQL (RDBMS) / NoSQL databases.

- Knowledge of JMS, Logging frameworks (Log4j/SLF4J/Logback).

- Unit testing using JUnit, Mockito / PowerMock.

- Build tools : Maven/Gradle | Version control: Git/SVN.

- Experience in AWS (Cloud deployment, scaling, provisioning).

- Exposure to CI/CD (Jenkins), Docker, Containerization.

- Understanding of API Security (OAuth2, JWT, IAM, API Gateway).

- Good communication skills and experience working with global teams.
