About the Role :

We are looking for a Software Development Technical Consultant to join our PLM Pune team. You will work on developing and maintaining functional areas within the Windchill Platform - Core Services.

Responsibilities :

- Design and implement features for the Windchill Platform.

- Participate in technical approaches for future backlogs.

- Provide accurate input to stakeholders including Product Managers, TPMs, and Solution teams.

- Conduct and participate in design and code reviews.

- Provide formal technical coaching to junior developers.

- Prepare work breakdown structures and implement solutions within release constraints.

- Develop Proof of Concepts for platform improvements.

- Provide technical guidance for customer-facing queries and collaborate with SRE/Support teams.

- Maintain technical documentation and support the QA group.

- Adapt AI tools to improve delivery speed and solution accuracy.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience as an individual contributor in software development.

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

- Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE development.

- Hands-on experience in solving performance and scalability issues.

- Understanding of DB (Oracle/SQL Server) queries and tuning.

- Experience in UI development using Windchill frameworks.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Familiarity with AI tools in R&D.

- Experience with enterprise-wide applications is preferred.
