Job Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Architect with strong pre-sales, enterprise architecture, and deal solutioning expertise to lead large-scale Microsoft-centric transformation opportunities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting winning cloud solutions, driving strategic RFP responses, and enabling enterprise customers to modernize their IT landscape using the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

This role requires a combination of deep technical expertise, commercial acumen, client-facing leadership, and the ability to craft innovative, scalable, and profitable solutions for large enterprise deals.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic RFP Assessment & Deal Pursuit :

- Lead technical solutioning for large-scale, high-value RFPs/RFIs and strategic pursuits.

- Analyze customer requirements and design compelling, differentiated solutions leveraging the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem.

- Collaborate with Sales, Bid Management, and Delivery teams to create winning proposals.

- Present and defend solution architecture in client presentations and workshops with CIO/CTO/CXO stakeholders.

- Ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, commercially viable, competitive, and profitable.

- Support pricing models, effort estimation, risk assessment, and transition strategy.

Enterprise Architecture & Innovation :

- Design end-to-end enterprise cloud architectures integrating Azure IaaS, PaaS, M365, Security, and Networking.

- Define modernization roadmaps for migrating legacy/on-premise applications to cloud-native architectures.

- Architect solutions using AKS, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Event-driven patterns, and Microservices.

- Build next-generation platforms integrating Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, AI/ML, and analytics platforms like Synapse, Fabric, Databricks.

- Ensure high availability, scalability, governance, resilience, backup, and disaster recovery.

- Drive adoption of Azure Landing Zones and enterprise governance frameworks.

Leadership & Governance :

- Provide technical leadership across solution design, architecture reviews, and governance boards.

- Mentor architects, consultants, and engineering teams on Azure best practices.

- Define reusable solution accelerators, reference architectures, and industry-specific offerings.

- Ensure alignment with Azure Well-Architected Framework and security compliance standards.

- Work closely with delivery teams to transition won deals into successful execution.

Experience Requirements :

- 10+ years of overall IT industry experience.

- 5+ years in Enterprise Architect / Solution Architect roles.

- 4+ years of hands-on Azure architecture and implementation experience.

- Strong experience in managing RFPs and solutioning for large Microsoft-centric deals (Mandatory).

- Experience in IT Services / Global Delivery / Managed Services preferred.

Good to Have Skills :

- Strong customer-facing consulting background.

- Experience in BFSI, Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare, or Telecom domains preferred.

- Exposure to multi-cloud advisory engagements is an advantage.

- Ability to travel for customer meetings when required.
