Product Test Engineer II - Python

Key Responsibilities :

Test Strategy & Execution :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies including functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.

- Ensure test coverage for web, API, and mobile applications.

- Analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.

Test Automation :

- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Python.

- Implement automated tests using Robot Framework, Selenium, and Appium.

- Automate REST API testing using appropriate tools and frameworks.

- Ensure automation suites are scalable, reusable, and maintainable.

CI/CD & DevOps Collaboration :

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve build quality and deployment reliability.

- Monitor pipeline executions and troubleshoot test failures efficiently.

Cross-Platform Testing :

- Perform testing on Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.

- Validate product compatibility, performance, and reliability across platforms.

Defect Management & Reporting :

- Log, track, and manage defects using Jira.

- Provide clear and actionable defect reports with root cause analysis.

- Work closely with developers to validate fixes and improvements.

Quality Ownership & Mentoring :

- Act as a quality advocate within the team, ensuring best practices are followed.

- Mentor junior testers and contribute to improving overall QA maturity.

- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Python.

- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and strategies.

- Hands-on experience with Robot Framework, Selenium, Appium.

- Experience in REST API testing.

- Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and version control systems.

- Experience testing on Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms.

- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)

Experience :

- 7 to 10 years of experience in product testing / QA engineering.

- Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
