Procorp Systems - Java Backend Developer - Spring MVC

Job Title : Java Backend Developer

Experience Required : 6- 8 years

Location : Hyderabad (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver scalable and secure backend solutions.

- Build clean, well-documented, and testable code using TDD, JUnit, Postman, and Swagger.

- Ensure high performance and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across application layers.

- Design and optimize database schemas, write efficient SQL queries, and ensure data integrity.

- Integrate Single Sign-On (SSO) and web services with external partners using technologies such as SAML and SOAP.

- Implement and maintain API security protocols, including API Gateway configurations (e.g., Tyk).

- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and provide technical guidance to team members.

- Continuously improve development processes, tools, and coding standards for better efficiency.

- Resolve technical impediments to help the team achieve sprint deliverables on time.

Core Skills & Requirements :

- Hands-on experience with Spring MVC and Spring Boot frameworks.

- 4+ years of experience building REST Web Services with deep knowledge of best practices.

- Strong database skills with RDBMS (preferably Oracle), including schema design and query optimization.

- Proficiency with development tools : Eclipse, Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, and WebSphere (or equivalent app servers).

- Solid understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization standards.

- Proven ability to build performant, scalable, and secure backend systems.
