Principal Software Engineer - Golang

Were looking for a Tech Lead whos not just great at coding, but also at leading people, solving complex problems, and building systems that scale.
What Youll Do :
- Write clean, efficient Golang code and guide your team to do the same.
- Work with the product team to understand new features and projects, and figure out the best way to build them.
- Design scalable systems that can handle millions of requests without breaking a sweat.
- Work with Kafka, AWS services, and containerized deployments to keep things running smoothly.
- Be the gatekeeper of code quality - conduct detailed PR reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
- Take part in daily stand-ups and product backlog discussions to keep everyone aligned.
- Keep tech documentation up to date so no one is left guessing how things work.
- Distribute work smartly within your team and make sure things get delivered on time.
- Keep an eye on system health using tools like Grafana, New Relic, Sentry, and jump in quickly when incidents happen.
- Help improve our CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts (Python/Shell).
Must Have :
- 8+ years of backend development experience, with at least 4+ years in Golang.
- Strong system design skills and experience building large-scale systems.
- Good understanding of Kafka.
- Proficient with Docker; Kubernetes experience is a plus.
- Hands-on with AWS (ECS, ECR, S3, Lambda, Secrets Manager, EC2, Route 53).
- Familiarity with MySQL and MongoDB.
- Experience with at least one of these: Grafana (Loki, Tempo, Prometheus), New Relic, Sentry.
- Can write basic automation scripts in Python or Shell.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
