Location : Bengaluru / NCR / Hyderabad / Mumbai / Pune (Hybrid)

About the Opportunity :

As a Principal Engineer, youll define the long-term technical vision and lead the development of core systems that power our AI and MLOps infrastructure. Youll solve deeply complex distributed systems challenges and act as a force multiplier for the entire engineering organization through architectural leadership, technical strategy, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define the technical architecture for scalable, distributed AI systems

- Lead design and implementation of critical backend services and data pipelines

- Drive initiatives around reliability, performance optimization, and cost efficiency

- Mentor and guide engineering leads and senior developers across teams

- Evaluate and introduce new technologies aligned with product scalability goals

- Collaborate with the leadership team to shape long-term technical roadmaps

Required Qualifications :

- 7 to 13 years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in architecture-heavy roles

- Strong system design expertise distributed systems, concurrency, event-driven design

- Proficiency in backend technologies (Python, Go, Java)

- Proven experience scaling large production systems

- Solid knowledge of observability, reliability engineering, and performance optimization

- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
