We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Principal Architect with 9-12 years of experience to define the technical vision at Loop AI. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and scaling distributed, data-intensive, and customer-facing systems. This role is a key technical leadership position, responsible for guiding multiple development pods and ensuring architectural consistency across the organization. You will solve complex, high-impact challenges, mentor senior engineers, and enable teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Technical Vision & Strategy : Define and articulate the technical vision and long-term architectural strategy for Loop AI. You will be responsible for ensuring architectural consistency across multiple product pods and balancing product goals with crucial architectural trade-offs.

- System Design & Scaling : Lead the design and architecture of scalable, reliable, and high-impact systems. Your expertise will be critical in handling distributed, data-intensive, and real-time analytics platforms, especially for SaaS or VSaaS products at scale.

- Cross-Team Leadership : Guide 10-15+ engineers across multiple pods without direct reporting lines. You will serve as a technical expert and a mentor, raising the bar for senior engineers and team leads by promoting best practices and excellence in system design.

- Framework & Platform Development : Drive the creation and implementation of reusable frameworks, platforms, and components that empower engineering teams to move faster while maintaining quality and consistency.

- Stakeholder Engagement : Communicate effectively with both technical and product stakeholders to influence decisions and ensure a shared understanding of architectural designs and their business implications.

- Innovation & Mentorship : Apply hands-on experience with AI/ML-driven products to drive innovation. You will be a key mentor, sharing your expertise in areas like cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, microservices, and event-driven systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 9 to 12 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a leading architectural role.

- Proven experience in designing and scaling distributed, data-intensive, and customer-facing systems.

- Strong programming and system design expertise across a variety of technologies.

- Experience guiding a large number of engineers without direct reporting lines.

- The ability to balance product goals with architectural trade-offs.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Hands-on experience with AI/ML-driven products or real-time analytics platforms.

- Experience building SaaS or VSaaS products at scale.

- Expertise in setting up reusable frameworks and platforms.

- Exposure to cloud-native architectures, including Kubernetes, microservices, and event-driven systems.

- A strong background in technical mentorship.
