Role Overview :

Were hiring a visionary Principal AI Architect to lead DB Techs transformation into an AI-first engineering organization. In this role, you will drive the adoption of cutting-edge AI tools (e.g., Lovable AI, Cursor, Relevance AI), embed intelligent services across our platforms, and re-architect systems for AI-native execution.

Collaborating with backend, mobile, and DevOps teams, you will bridge product vision with technical AI strategy delivering scalable and explainable systems that power millions of SME transactions across Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities :

AI-First Leadership :

- Define and execute DB Techs AI vision. Re-architect existing systems into AI-native services, integrate tools like Cursor and Relevance AI, and mentor teams on prompt engineering, Vibe Coding, and autonomous testing.

Architect Scalable AI Systems :

- Design enterprise-scale AI/ML platforms that enable real-time analytics, model deployment, and continuous learning in fintech products and services.

Lead Solution Design :

- Build AI systems that meet financial regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, FFIEC, Basel III) while ensuring fairness, explainability, and accountability.

Drive MLOps Strategy :

- Identify high-value AI opportunities and lead the development of proofs-of-concept (PoCs).

- Evaluate feasibility, cost, and impact of new AI initiatives.

- Define best practices and standards for model lifecycle management.

Evaluate Emerging Technologies :

- Stay ahead of innovations in generative AI, LLMs, and FinTech-specific AI tools, driving their adoption strategically.

Technical Skills and Tools :

ML & AI Frameworks :

- Scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, TensorFlow, PyTorch

- Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI APIs (for generative and NLP use cases)

MLOps & Deployment :

- FastAPI, gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow

FinTech-Specific Applications :

- Credit scoring models, Fraud detection algorithms

- Time series forecasting, NLP for financial documents/chatbots

- Algorithmic trading models, AML (Anti-Money Laundering) systems

Cloud & Data Platforms :

- AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google Vertex AI

- Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka, BigQuery, Delta Lake

Monitoring & Explainability :
