Responsibilities :
- Interfaces between clients, PMs, Architects, and the Development team.
- Maps the client's product roadmap against AEM vs custom features.
- Gathering requirements and assumptions.
- Verifies and validates the development process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and methodology.
- Leads/guides/mentors team members comprising senior and mid-level.
- Always represents Adobe (work product, communications, presence) professionally in both client and team situations.
- Articulates the architectural vision to clients, sponsors, and stakeholders.
Requirements :
- Overall 15+ years of industry Experience.
- Proven ability with AEM development and AEM Content Management Systems.
- 5+ years handling technical and/or business teams in a customer-facing function.
- Proficient in Adobe AEM foundational concepts, including the use of core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Apache Felix, a solid understanding of all of the related building blocks, including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc., and the Adobe AEM development and deployment process.
- Should have worked as an Architect for at least 3+ AEM Implementations.
- Be well-versed with AEM native features and respective configurations.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing technical specification documents.
- Mastery of core web technologies, including XML, HTML5 CSS, client/server-side scripting languages such as JavaScript, JSP, and web services development using RESTful implementations.
- Deep understanding of Java, Java EE, Servlets, JSP, Tag libraries, and JSTL skills, combined with a strong understanding of Enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
- Lead technical design, effort estimation/sizing, and development, including logical and deployment enterprise-level architecture (system design, application architecture, data design, H/w & S/w stack, and components).
- Lead and orchestrate joint discovery sessions with customers to document the project SoW, use-cases, and test-cases.
- Call-out impediments, dependencies, and risks with a potential mitigation plan.
- Proficient knowledge of the end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management, content publishing/deployment, and delivery processes.
- A good understanding of integration patterns and content-centric application development patterns using Adobe AEM with or without a Portal, Search, Commerce package, or other platforms is preferred.
- Participate/Lead in design discussions and client meetings.
- Excellent oral and written communication, presenting, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Have strong presentation skills; skilled and effective at presenting to both technical and business audiences.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS, Azure, etc
