Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Tech Lead to design, develop, and deliver scalable Business Intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI development, data modeling, report optimization, and stakeholder collaboration while leading technical initiatives and mentoring development teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI reports and dashboards.

- Lead Power BI development activities and provide technical guidance to the team.

- Design and optimize data models for performance and scalability.

- Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.

- Perform data transformation using Power Query.

- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.

- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for business users.

- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS).

- Manage user access groups and permissions within Power BI Service.

- Optimize report performance by improving data models, DAX, and query performance.

- Integrate Power BI with Power Apps, SharePoint, and other Microsoft platforms.

- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Support deployments, enhancements, bug fixes, and production issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

- Prepare technical documentation and ensure adherence to best practices.

Mandatory Skills :

- 7 to 10 years of IT experience.

- Minimum 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Power BI Development.

- Strong experience in Data Modeling (Star & Snowflake Schema).

- Advanced DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).

- Power Query (M Language).

- SQL.

- Data Visualization.

- Data Model Optimization and Performance Tuning.

- Power BI Service.

- Integration with Power Apps and SharePoint.

- Row-Level Security (RLS).

- Object-Level Security (OLS).

- Managing Access Groups and User Permissions.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
