Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Power BI with Tableau Consultant for a permanent opportunity in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI development, DAX, Power Query (M language), and data visualization best practices. The role demands a professional who can design, develop, and deploy robust BI solutions that help drive business insights and decision-making.

This position is open only for candidates currently based in Bangalore, as the role may require hybrid or occasional onsite collaboration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business requirements.

- Perform data modeling, transformations, and calculations using DAX and Power Query (M).

- Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources such as SQL databases, Excel, and flat files.

- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency through effective data cleansing and transformation techniques.

- Create visually compelling dashboards using best practices in design, layout, and data storytelling.

- Optimize Power BI models for performance and scalability.

- Collaborate with business teams to understand analytics needs and deliver actionable insights.

- Support ad-hoc data analysis and assist with decision-making through BI tools.

- Maintain proper documentation for reports, data models, and workflows.

- Stay updated with new features and functionalities in Power BI and Tableau.

Required Skills :

- 45 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.

- Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling concepts.

- Expertise in working with data from SQL databases, Excel, and flat files.

- Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and dashboard design principles.

- Ability to perform basic data transformations and data modeling.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to Tableau, Qlik, or other BI tools.

- Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate).

- Understanding of Agile methodologies and data warehousing concepts.

- Basic knowledge of ETL tools and data pipelines.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.

- Certifications in Power BI or Tableau will be an added advantage.
